January 12, 2017 meeting

Good evening HOHAPA members.

We should be having a meeting next week, Thursday, January 12th. However, there are no speakers or sponsors for this meeting. We have some important business to attend to such as voting for our VP and treasurer positions. We also need to do some brainstorming for future meetings. Erika did a great job at being able to find sponsors and speakers, but as I discussed at our November meeting...I will need help with this (unless you guys want to hear about oncology EVERY meeting). This will need to be a team effort with input from everyone and some creativity in finding new sources of speakers, etc. In light of these needs, I propose that next week, we have a "working meeting"...with no speaker or sponsor, but instead take care of some of this business so that we can have a productive 2017. If this is too late notice, then the alternative would be to cancel the meeting and plan to meet again in March. We would still need to address the need for speakers and sponsors, however. If you would all please take a moment to respond by email to me letting me know what you would like to do.
